There is a superhero within all of us. In this story Aadu and Tushti have an adventure in a world of Dinosaurs. There is a special gift for Aadu when they return.
Once upon a time, there lived a boy Aadu. He loved to draw and thought Dinosaurs and the Avengers were really cool. But most of all he loved his baby sister Tushti.
Last Christmas, he had asked Santa for a sibling in his stocking. Lo and behold! Santa rewarded him because only he could take care of such a special girl.
One day Aadu was drawing a Dinosaur scenery in his room. He wanted to get it just right, with the perfect scenery. Suddenly, the Dino of his drawing appeared!
The Dino said, “Aadu, you draw so well. I want to take you on a tour of my world. Will you come?”
Aadu was so excited! He had only read about the Dinosaurs in his books, now there was one in his room!
Aadu said, “I would love to come. May I bring my sister Tushti too?”
Dino said, “Sure!”
They walk through a jungle with large trees and a flying dinosaur. Tushti looks scared, but Aadu soothes her.
Aadu says, “Don’t worry Tushti, he is hunting for fish now. He is a Pterodactyl.”
Dino says, “Wow, you are quite knowledgeable!”
Aadu says, “Thank you.”
Dino asks, “Aadu, do you know what we eat?”
Aadu says, “Herbivores eat green leafy food and carnivores eat meat.”
Dino says, “Correct! Do you want to try our vegetarian food?”
Both of them are excited.
Dino plucks a leaf from a fern tree and gives one each to Aadu and Tushti. Tushti eats hers and spits it out! Aadu laughs at Tushti’s eagerness.
Aadu says, “I think it is time to go home. Tushti looks hungry. She must be wanting her milk.”
Dino says, “No problem, I will take you back.
Once back in the room, Aadu says, “Thank you so much for showing us your world. We had a fun time!”
Dino says, “It was my pleasure to show you both around. You are a kind and caring boy.
I want to give you a gift.
How would you like to be a superhero?”
From today, you will be known as Aadu, the carer.
Your superpower is your kindness and warmth, which will make people feel safe in your presence.”
Aadu says, “Thank you so much! I love it! Shall we take a selfie?”
